On May 20, 2021, a coalition of more than 1400 nonprofits, brands, government agencies, and influential leaders came together to drive our culture from awareness to action on mental health.
From Awareness to Action
In the wake of COVID-19, millions of people have uncovered new mental health conditions and millions more have had their existing challenges exacerbated. While more people than ever before are comfortable discussing mental health, many fall through the cracks in the space between awareness and action – particularly those who have been marginalized or underserved by existing institutions.
That is why a coalition of more than 1400 nonprofits, brands, government agencies and influential leaders came together to drive our culture from awareness to action on May 20th for the inaugural Mental Health Action Day.
Action looks different for everyone. Mental Health Action Day encouraged and empowered people to take action for themselves, for their loved ones, or for their community.
